New black chicken soup found!

To satisfy our never-ending craving for herbal black chicken soup, we decided to scout for a new hunt that serves up this yummy concoction. This is also due to the fact that our usual favourite store at Geylang Lor 21 closes at 1900pm (see below)! After goggling on my Iphone for more black chicken stalls, I came upon this also at Geylang!

We ordered 2 bowls of soup, 4 bowls of yam rice, 1 Fu yong friend egg, 2 glasses of barley and finally... Herbal Turtle Jelly. All for only $28. Our usual place at Tan Ser Seng will set us back by $28.80 for only 2 bowls of soup, 2 bowls of yam rice and 2 glasses of chrysanthemum tea. Well money aside, I will rank it as # 2, on my list of black chicken soup places. 1st still goes to

Nevertheless, it is much recommended than Ser Seng, located at Tai Thong Crescent. I wonder if Ser Seng is related to Tan Ser Seng @ Geylang though highly possible. Anyway I found another blogger's review of Tai Seng Herbal Restaurant here
